Operations Analyst
About the Role
We’re looking for a Operations Analyst to join our Operations Team in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.
In this role, you’ll become the architect of our operational efficiency. You will act as a critical business partner to our Supply Chain and Fulfilment teams. By establishing real-time reporting and generating actionable insights, you will drive measurable improvements in efficiency and cost control across our entire production process. If you’re excited about creating meaningful impact in a high-growth food-tech environment, this is your chance to join the food revolution!
Key Responsibilities:
- Turn data into direction. Review and refine daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards using tools like Looker to cover end-to-end supply chain metrics. By tracking specific KPIs such as Pick/Pack rates, Labour Utilisation, OTIF, and Inventory Accuracy you ensure we spot trends early and optimize our Fulfilment Centre efficiency.
- Champion quality and supplier performance. Manage supplier scorecards including DIFOTIQ (Delivery in Full, On Time, In Quality) and pricing competitiveness. You will also track quality metrics, such as missing ingredient rates and customer complaints, ensuring that every box we send meets our high standards.
- Build a reliable foundation. Partner with our Global Data Engineering teams to ensure our data sources (ERP, MRP, and WMS systems) are accurate and reliable. This collaboration guarantees that our reporting structures are built on truth, allowing for faster, deeper analysis.
- Innovate with advanced technology. Proactively explore emerging technologies like Process Mining tools and AI/ML solutions. Using these tools allows you to identify non-obvious optimization opportunities and predict future bottlenecks before they happen.
- Lead the change from start to finish. Own process improvement initiatives by defining the scope, measuring the baseline, and tracking the realised financial benefits. You will translate complex quantitative findings into clear narratives that empower senior stakeholders to make specific operational changes.
Your Profile:
- Experience: 3+ years in an analytical role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or high-volume FMCG/e-commerce operations.
- Education: A Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proven expertise in data visualisation (Looker is highly regarded) and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for complex modelling.
- Process Methodologies: A demonstrated understanding of Continuous Improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) applied in a warehouse environment.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Finance) without needing direct authority.
- Mindset: A curious, hands-on, and resilient approach to problem-solving with a passion for driving measurable business impact.
Benefits:
