About the Job
The Marketing department plays a key role in how Marley Spoon connects with customers, drives value, and supports sustainable commercial growth.
We’re looking for a Pricing Manager to join our team in Lisbon. In this role, you’ll help shape data-informed pricing decisions across our global regions by building and evolving sophisticated models for food, shipping, and non-food items.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys turning data into clear commercial recommendations, partnering closely with different teams, and seeing their work directly influence customer behavior and business performance.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing & Pricing Intelligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing decisions are thoughtful, data-informed, and implemented with precision.
What You’ll Do
Pricing Strategy & Optimization
Develop and evolve pricing models
Maintain and improve pricing models across all regions to help determine optimal price points for food, shipping, and non-food items.
Bring market context into decision-making
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to identify risks, opportunities, and data-backed rate recommendations.
Own the pricing optimization framework
Lead the pricing optimization framework to support long-term commercial goals while balancing customer value and business performance.
Support customer value and retention initiatives
Use data, testing, and performance insights to help identify effective discounts, incentives, and pricing approaches that support customer retention.
Manage budget with clarity and accountability
Support promotional budget management by providing accurate spend forecasts and taking proactive steps to meet financial targets.
Partner closely across teams
Collaborate with marketing and deployment teams to ensure pricing changes and related customer-facing campaigns are executed accurately and on time.
We’d Love to Meet You If You Bring
Experience
3+ years in pricing, commercial analytics, or finance, ideally within e-commerce or subscription services.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Technical skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Business acumen
A strong understanding of pricing mechanics, margin drivers, and how pricing influences customer behavior.
Clear communication
The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Growth mindset
A self-driven, action-oriented approach, with the resilience to adapt to shifting demands in a high-growth environment.
