This position is for an assertive person who can work in our IT team, and provide delightful and inspiring in house support to manage IT infrastructure, manage relationships with local vendors, and ensure a secure business operations in a timely manner.
The role in a nutshell
We are looking for a System Administrator that takes care of our local infrastructure, from vendor relationships to secure cloud scaling.
By joining us you will
Drive IT infrastructure projects, and be a central point for IT
Analyze data and identify potential issues with computer systems, networks and IT infrastructure; and drive solutions and improvements
Assist and support the purchase, installation, and monitoring of device and hardware
Manage end devices and cloud applications, and ensure all devices are recorded and properly monitored
Implement and maintain data, computer, and network security in our Lisbon Office
Troubleshoot issues and outages by providing delightful service to internal stakeholders, this includes having a structured process created to manage troubleshooting
Regularly travel between our warehouse and office locations to support hardware logistics; including the collection, delivery, and maintenance of IT equipment
Train Team Members on new Technology and processes
Run maintenance, usage, and budget reports
What you will bring
2+ years of experience administering and supporting IT infrastructure and end devices
A degree in IT, Information Systems, or related fields
Proven fluency in Cloud native environments, and the ability to manage Windows and macOS devices
A security first mindset, with expertise in identifying vulnerabilities and hardening systems against modern threats
Strong problem solving skills, ability to structure and address difficult issues, and find solutions
Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information, to effectively solve problems
Manage version control on process documentation to reflect infrastructure changes, and peer reviewing our security policies
Ability to work independently and autonomously
