We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator (casual) to join our Engineering & Automation team at our Sydney Fulfilment Centre - Wetherill Park 2164 NSW. This role is ideal for someone with a maintenance or technical background who enjoys solving problems, coordinating work, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll be the link between breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and getting things fixed quickly and safely.

• Coordinate and prioritise maintenance requests to minimise downtime and support production

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure fast, effective resolution (including contractor coordination)

• Support preventative maintenance planning and scheduling

• Conduct regular site checks to identify equipment issues and safety risks

• Track and manage maintenance activities, spare parts, and work orders

• Work closely with operations and external contractors to get work done safely and efficiently

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across equipment reliability and maintenance processes

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop practical, production-oriented solutions.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with WHS/OHS standards and site safety requirements

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management, contractors, and internal teams.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Commitment to creating and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Experience using computer-based systems, with solid Excel skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Nice to have: Mechanical Engineering degree, or relevant engineering/technical background.
