We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator (casual contract) to join our Engineering & Automation team in Sydney. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining machinery, coordinating repairs, and ensuring our facility operates efficiently and safely. What you’ll do

• Prioritise, action, and track maintenance requests to support smooth operations.
• Report on maintenance activities, required supplies, and planned tasks under the Maintenance Plan.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess equipment and facility status.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Develop and maintain procedures for all maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with WHS/OHS policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Update and manage maintenance schedules, including assigning tasks to associates and contractors.
• Coordinate and improve preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate rapid repairs, including contractor involvement.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop practical, production-oriented solutions.
• Support process improvement investigations across Engineering & Automation.

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management, contractors, and internal teams.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to creating and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Experience using computer-based systems, with solid Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Nice to have: Mechanical Engineering degree, or relevant engineering/technical background.
