Our Finance team is now looking for an FP&A Analyst. This role will support the US Finance team in analysis, forecast, tracking, reporting & making improvements on base costs and financial performance. Due to close collaboration with our US region, regular working hours will be 10:00-19:00.
Responsibilities:
- Support our US finance team in analyzing, forecasting, and improving our financial performance.
- Drive analytics to identify financial gaps and provide solutions to improve processes.
- Research and build a strong knowledge of analytics tools to become an expert.
- Influence key stakeholders to deliver impactful change by communicating the trends and influencing decisions through the data.
- Work on sensitivity analysis and business cases that will improve the business' financial health.
- Track & investigate sales, variable costs, and base costs for the US region to fully understand performance drivers, risks, and bottom-line driving initiatives.
- Work across our data tools to report our financial performance.
- Help deliver monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables and business reviews, including visually presenting financial analysis for review with the global leadership team.
- Work with various other departments (e.g. Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing) to identify and realize opportunities to meet operating plan targets.
Must Have Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant practical experience (including internships) as a Financial Analyst or similar role in the Food & Beverages industry.
- Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and using financial analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and functions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience implementing and developing ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Knowledge of data visualization and queries e.,g. Looker, Tableau, SQL
- Knowledge of industry trends and regulations affecting the Food & Beverages industry.
- CPA or CFA certification.
